The Windows XP Professional has an added security feature that assures the safety and security of confidential files. The encrypting feature allows you to translate your confidential files into coded symbols by a simple click of your mouse. It is the perfect complement to your file security feature of password-enabled access.To encrypt your file go to the folder of the file you choose to encrypt. Right mouse click on your file and choose Properties, once you are inside, choose advance settings and tick the box of Encrypt file, and you are done. With the encrypting feature you can rest easy that your confidential files will be kept confidential.
