Tips Before Installing Windows XP

Before installing Windows XP in your PC, know your system’s minimum requirements first.

  1. Processor > 233MHz
  2. Memory > 64 MB RAM (may limit performance and some features)
  3. Video adapter and monitor > Super VGA (800×600)
  4. Hard drive disk free space > 1.5 GB
  5. Drives > CD-ROM
  6. Devices > Keyboard and mouse

7. Others > Sound card, speakers and headphones

In addition to the Windows XP system requirements, Service Pack 2 requires an additional 1.8GbGB of free hard disk space during installation.
