Tips Before Installing Windows XP
Before installing Windows XP in your PC, know your systems minimum requirements first.
- Processor > 233MHz
- Memory > 64 MB RAM (may limit performance and some features)
- Video adapter and monitor > Super VGA (800×600)
- Hard drive disk free space > 1.5 GB
- Drives > CD-ROM
- Devices > Keyboard and mouse
7. Others > Sound card, speakers and headphones
In addition to the Windows XP system requirements, Service Pack 2 requires an additional 1.8GB of free hard disk space during installation.
