Restoring Access to Network Connection

If you have been trying to connect to a computer running on a Windows XP operating system and are always getting an error message saying that access is denied although the user names and passwords are correct, you may have to do some slight registry edit. Click on the button Start and then click on the word Run. Type in the keyword Regedit. Open the following folders in chronological order: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SYSTEM, CurrentControlSet, Control and then Lsa. The value of the restrictanonymous key should be changed from 0 to 1. Your computer should be rebooted for the change to take effect.
