There are two types of blank CD available in the market, the recordable CD and the rewritable CD. The recordable CD is the less expensive of the two because it can only be used one time. On the other hand with the rewritable CD can be used over and over again. You can take out previously burned files, or add new ones, just like a regular storage file. With the use of the multi-session burning feature, even a recordable CD can be used several times. The only difference is with the recordable CD you can only add files and not delete them.
Faster Way to Rename Files in a Directory
If you have a number of files that are all in the same directory and you want to rename them, you do not have to do this individually. There is a better, faster and easier way to do it. Go to Windows Explorer and select the files that you want to rename. Right click or press F2 and select Rename. Next, type the prefix for the name of your choice. This then will automatically change the names of the rest of the files. Ensure that you also type the extension name if your Windows Explorer is configured to display them.
