Do you know that keyboard shortcuts can be used to open programs in a flash on your PC? Usually, you open a program using the Start menu (if the Program icon is not in the desktop). You can open programs without lifting your hand from the keyboard using shortcuts. First, click Start and then click All Programs. Find the program that you want to start using a keyboard shortcut and right-click on it, and then click Properties. Next, click shortcut key box, then press the letter to be used as shortcut. Click Ok. To use the keyboard shortcut and see how to open programs in a flash, hold down CTRL and ALT keys and then press the shortcut letter.
Free Some Space Through System Restore

Windows System Restore is very much useful when your PC or a drive in it needs recovery from a major system error. The sad fact is that it can occupy a lot of space in your hard drive.
If you feel desperate about freeing a few spaces, particularly on the secondary storage drives, one thing that you can do is limit the number of your System Restore Points which were established by Windows XP itself. This is something quick and involves no tangible risks.
Simply right click My Computer, select Properties then, open System Restore. Select the drive that you want to free from some space and click Settings. You may then adjust the slider to the left. This will make Windows XP reduce the number of System Restore Points.

There are traditional games in windows that we would love to play over and over again like Free Cell, Solitaire, among others. From the developers, they added supplementary programs which they call PowerToys that adds different functionality to the Windows experience.
